![]() ![]() ![]() I'm still hopeful that this can eventually become something great, but for now I'll just settle for what it is. Oliver's father has never ( that I know of) really played a big role in his backstory before this, so why the sudden change?Īlthough, the show is pretty popular, so I can see why they'd maybe want to take things in that direction, and I'm probably one of the few people who didn't like it. ![]() It's not an exact copy of the show, but it felt tainted and stinky. And like the tv show, it wasn't a total accident that his ship went down and he ended up on the island. Instead of having Oliver's father give him a list of his wrongs to right, his father was part of some ancient Arrow Tribe.or some such nonsense. I was a little disappointed that they seem to be trying to take a page from the tv series, though. At least this made sense, even if it wasn't mind-blowing. ![]() Lemire is such an improvement on Nocenti that I can't help but breathe a sigh of relief. As much as I like the idea of Green Arrow, this volume still isn't what I was looking for. ![]()
